Wallowood is the go-to service for the sale of timber from public forests in Wallonia. We created a strong visual identity and a custom-built web platform that centralizes all past and upcoming timber sales while offering a smooth and intuitive user experience. The project also includes the design of a tailored admin interface with tools that streamline the internal operations of the Wallowood team.

Challenges

Designing a distinctive and memorable visual identity in a highly traditional sector. For the platform itself, the main challenge was to structure and present a large amount of information in a clear and accessible way, particularly for a user base often unfamiliar with digital tools. We also had to develop custom features that ensure a high-quality user experience while providing an efficient and ergonomic admin interface.

Solutions

We designed an original brand identity built around a unique logo, a cohesive graphic system, and a distinctive symbol that bridges nature and modernity. The web platform delivers intuitive navigation, with sales presented in both list and calendar views, along with a member area for personalized tracking. The admin interface was fully custom-built to simplify day-to-day operations. We also incorporated high accessibility standards, anticipating the needs of a broad and varied audience. Everything was designed to maximize clarity and usability, while meeting the strict requirements of Wallonia’s public sector.
